The RescueMe PLB1 can be operated with one hand, even in the most difficult situations. A simple spring-loaded flap covers the activation button and prevents accidental triggering.
RescueMe PLB1 works with the world's only officially recognised search and rescue satellite network (operated by Cospas Sarsat). As this is funded by governments, there are no fees to use this service. You can register yourself in 10 minutes at low cost.
When activated, the RescueMe PLB1 transmits your position and ID to a Rescue Coordination Centre via satellite connection. Emergency services in your area are quickly notified in an emergency and regularly updated on your current position to ensure the fastest possible rescue.
You register the device yourself according to the enclosed instructions and can also make subsequent changes yourself, e.g. if your address or telephone number changes.
