The ATR833-II is the successor to the well-known ATR833 aeronautical radio with 8.33 kHz channel spacing. The transmitter and receiver of the ATR833-II are completely new developments featuring state-of-the-art digital signal processing.
Like its predecessor, the ATR833, the ATR833-II has a voice-activated intercom.
A new feature is automatic microphone type detection. Another new feature is the recording of the last radio message received.
At the touch of a button, up to nine seconds of the last radio message are played back. In addition to the usual functions, two memory functions round off the range of features.
Up to 20 frequencies can be stored with names. In addition, the 10 most recently used frequencies can be easily recalled.
The ATR833-II can be remotely controlled via the ATR833RT control unit.
Dimensions: 65 x 65 x 169 mm, weight approx. 460 g.
Power consumption: approx. 120 mA standby, 1.3 / 0.65 A in transmit mode, voltage 11 - 30 VDC.
